Opened in October 2003, the gallery, as self-defined, is entirely devoted to the field of drawings. That's why the expositions feature a widest possible range of intenational drawings. Drawings were have been considered for a long time as an inferior level of artistic expression, overshadowed by „major“ representational works. They are now precisely recognized for their unfinished, vulnerable and temporary characteristics, and that is what is shown in the Fruehsorge.
